American Information Resource Center

The American Information Resource Center (AIRC), also known as the American Library, offers a wide range of resources, programs and services. Its mission is to provide timely, reliable and comprehensive information on contemporary American politics and government, economics and trade, foreign affairs and defense, rule of law and a wide range of global issues including trafficking in persons, human rights, drugs and the environment. The AIRC is an integral part of the Public Affairs Section of the American Embassy, which undertakes a variety of activities to promote a better understanding of the culture, history, institutions, values and policies of the United States.
