Violin Concert at the American Center

American violinist Michael Braudy performed at the American Center auditorium on March 11, 2008. Braudy, an experienced violinist in Western, Celtic, and Indian music, and a versatile improviser, who collaborates with poets and storytellers, theatre, dance and mime was accompanied by local violinist Sunita Bhuyan, and percussionist Prufullya Atthale. Braudy entertained the crowd by playing Celtic traditional and contemporary, Western and Indian classical, while Bhuyan showcased the Indian classical and later both played duets on Western and Indian classic. The audience was delighted by the interactive performance and exchange of views on western and Indian classic.
