2007 Fulbright/American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship Program Announced

NEW DELHI -- The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) is pleased to announce the 2007 Fulbright/American Political Science Association (APSA) Congressional Fellowship Program. This 12-month grant is designed to give three to four foreign scholars and professionals the opportunity to study the workings of Congress as a Congressional fellow as well as participate in seminars and enrichment activities. 

India is one of the 17 countries participating in the 2007 competition, the seventh year of the program.  Applicants may be academics, journalists, or public policy professionals with a scholarly interest in the U.S. Congress and the policymaking process and committed to making a significant contribution to the understanding of the political process by the general public. 

Interested Indian applicants can obtain details including application materials from any of USEFI offices or its website www.fulbright-india.org.
