Dr. Suraiya Baluch of Take Back The Night Foundation in the United States visits Mumbai and Goa

Dr. Suraiya Baluch, Board Member of Take Back the Night Foundation, and Director SHARE (Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising Resources & Education) at Princeton University visited Mumbai and Goa in Western India to share her professional expertise on gender-based violence protection. Dr. Baluch is a psychologist, educator, researcher and advocate in the field of gender-based violence prevention for over 12 years. During her visit in Mumbai and Goa, she had interactions with different audiences like educational institutes, NGOs, heads of organizations and women’s cells, volunteers and journalists.

Dr. Baluch's visit to Western India had been organized by the American Center Mumbai as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence in honor of the Elimination of Violence Against Women Day on November 25.
