SR Farah Pandith engages Muslims in Mumbai

Farah Pandith, Special Representative to Muslim Communities, visited Mumbai on February 18 and 19, 2010. While in Mumbai, Pandith interacted with Muslim religious and community leaders, Muslim women leaders, the media, and others. She addressed management, professors, and students at Burhani College of Arts and Commerce, and visited Mahim Dargah, Modern Educational, Social and Cultural Organization (MESCO), and an orphanage. Pandith’s office is responsible for executing Secretary Clinton’s vision for engagement with Muslims around the world on a people-to-people and organizational level. She reports directly to the Secretary of State.
