40th Anniversary of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) Celebrated at U.S. Consulate

Ambassador Janice Jacobs, Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs, U.S. Department of State, graced the evening as the Guest of Honor, at the IACC 40th Anniversary celebration and 5th Indo-American Corporate Excellence Awards, held on November 6.

The Indo- American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) hosted a special event to commemorate its 40th Anniversary and presented the 5th Indo-American Corporate Excellence (I-ACE) Awards at the U.S. Consulate General Lawns, Mumbai. The event was hosted by Anand Desai, Regional President, IACC-WIC; Paul Folmsbee, Consul General, Consulate General of the United States of America in Mumbai; and Atul Nishar, Chairman of the Jury, I-ACE Awards. Ambassador Janice Jacobs, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, U.S. Department of State, graced the evening as the Guest of Honor. The event recognized and honored the best U.S. companies in India with the Indo-American Corporate Excellence Awards.  Consul General Folmsbee and Ambassador Jacobs highlighted the exceptional work the IACC has done to promote mutual understanding between our two countries.  The current strength of the U.S.-India relationship is a testament to the power and strength of the people-to-people ties that have been constant throughout the years.  The night was capped off by a fashion show, dance performance, and the presence of Vivek Oberoi to promote his latest film.
