Eric Roston creates awareness on ethical reporting of environmental issues

Eric Roston, the author of The Carbon Age, delivered lectures on relating to global warming and the importance of ethics in journalism during his October 22-23 visit to Mumbai.  He reiterated President Obama’s commitment to work jointly with other countries in containing global warming.  He also mentioned that although there are currently no federally legislated policies in promoting renewable energy or achieving energy efficiency/conservation, many states have taken initiatives in attaining the same.  He also mentioned that the journalists play a major role in containing global warming by reporting ethically and accurately.
