American Corner in Ahmedabad Celebrates its Fifth Anniversary

Acting Consul General David Tyler presided over the fifth anniversary celebration of the American Corner at the Ahemdabad Management Association (AMA) on September 8. A three day anniversary program, jointly organized by the American Center, Mumbai and AMA, was scheduled from September 7-9. Two panel discussions led by Tyler kicked off the celebrations on September 7. The discussions were centered around Volunteerism in America and U.S.-India Relations, and how collaboration between our people and countries is mutually beneficial. The anniversary celebration was part of the country-wide “America Days” program where American diplomats will be traveling to 23 cities all over India to share a slice of America and promote mutual understanding.
