With a day of performances, lectures, fun, and food, the American Center celebrated its 65th anniversary on November 21.  The presence of “Uncle Sam,” who was on hand to talk to patrons and distribute candies, lent the occasion a festive tone.  U.S. Consul General Paul Folmsbeee launched “National Security – Emerging Dimensions and Threats” alongside its author, Dr. Navniit Gandhi, a U.S. government exchange alumna.  Presentations by Consulate officers on American history and seniors’ rights were also highlights, as well as a live cooking demonstration.
