Immigrant Visa Appointment Schedule

The immigrant visa appointment schedule is posted for the current month by approximately the 15th of the previous month.  Simply click on one of the links below.  If you do not find your case now, please check back after we have posted the next month’s appointments.

If your appointment appears on the interview schedule but have not yet received and appointment letter within fifteen (15 days of your appointment, you may request a duplicate appointment letter by emailing us.  Applicants need appointment letters to attend medical examinations and to enter the Consulate for their interviews.  If you are waiting for your appointment letter to arrive, you may begin preparing for your interview by downloading the appropriate appointment packet.

After your interview is schedule please submit all your documents at the VFS office located near your residence 10 days before the appointment.  Before coming for your interview, you must pay a courier fee of Rs.394 in cash per applicant at your local VFS office.  You must take your passport with you to VFS, and we suggest that you take your other documents with you as well since the customer service representatives are trained to help you organize your papers for the interview.  Please visit the VFS website for more details.  Please visit the below website to prepare for the interview http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivinterview_preparation.html
