U.S. Government Accepts 20-Year Passport as Valid Travel Document

The Consular Section of the American Consulate General advises the traveling public that, contrary to recent press accounts, the United States Government recognizes and accepts all Indian passports, including the 20-year passport, as a valid travel document duly issued by the Government of India to Indian citizens.
