My date is current, my case is in Mumbai, and I turned in my forms. How can I find out the appointment date?

Immigrant visa appointments are scheduled by the middle of each month for the following month.  The Appointment Package (Packet 4) is sent to the address of record in each case. 

Every month, Immigrant Visa Appointments are posted on our website http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/interview_appt_schedule.html.  You may check to see if you have been scheduled for an appointment.  If you do not receive the appointment letter by post, either the applicant or anyone may pick up a duplicate appointment letter from the Consulate's Public Information window, on any work day between 09:00 and 11:30 am, except for Indian and American holidays.  For any further queries, you may send an email to MumbaiIV@state.gov.
